Enterprise Ireland CORD grant:
Enterprise Ireland will assist eligible M50 Enterprise participants through the provision of CORD grants. CORD stands for "Commercialisation of Research and Development". Eligible participants may benefit from this initiative if they are in the process of establishing an innovative, knowledge-based internationally traded service or high tech manufacturing company with significant job creation potential. Further details and eligibility criteria can be obtained from the Enterprise Ireland web site. Under this scheme participants can receive grant aid of up to 50% of previous years' salary to a maximum of €38,000 if leaving full-time employment (P45/P60 necessary). This includes a maximum amount of €6,000 that can be claimed on qualifying business expenses. Eligible expenditure includes consultancy fees, prototype development, travel and subsistence, overheads and sundries.
