Academic Partners

The four academic partners in the M50 Enterprise Programme consist of two Institutes of Technology, Tallaght and Blanchardstown, and two Universities, University College Dublin and Dublin City University. Participation in the M50 Enterprise Programme is one aspect of the deep commitment of each institution to innovation and enterprise support in the M50 economic corridor. International experience provides very strong evidence that survival and growth prospects of knowledge-based start-ups are greatly enhanced when they are provided with tailored business supports and located on a campus. The four institutions together provide immense business development expertise as well as access to an extremely wide range of resources. The four campuses also provide excellent gateways into the constituent communities and areas that make up the fastest developing economic region in Ireland.
